Despite a woman's desperate attempt to fight off sleep and the recurring nightmare it brings, slumber prevails and the haunting figure of the Princess in Yellow intrudes upon her again.
This short film follows Melissa, a woman who is doing all she can to stay awake and thereby avoid the recurring nightmare of the Princess in Yellow. Her efforts are in vain as she eventually loses consciousness and the Princess returns, this time to mark her with the Yellow Sign; a harbinger of impending misfortune and doom. The Princess character and the Yellow Sign both relate to Robert Chambers' The King in Yellow. Hello and welcome to The Princess in Yellow web site and Indiegogo campaign. My name is John Hidalgo. I was the writer, producer and director of the short films The Littlest Cthulhuist which was shown at the Calgary Horror Con and Film Festival and the Bram Stoker International Film Festival, Ariel and Cthulhu's Witnesses which was shown at the H.
